Nielson Zoltan was founded from a foundation of trust, collaboration, and a shared vision. The journey began when Miklos Zoltan and Andrew Nielson met while working at Praesidium, developing the BioFi-powered RemWave Sleep Sensor, a contactless sleep monitoring device designed to track motion, heart rate, and breathing for a seamless sleep wellness experience. Working closely on this project, Miklos and Andrew quickly formed a mutual respect for each other’s expertise and work ethic.

After their time at Praesidium, they joined forces again at a company committed to designing home DIY security systems from the ground up. However, a sudden shift in the company’s priorities led to their simultaneous departure. Inspired by a shared commitment to engineering and innovation, Miklos and Andrew decided to bring Nielson Zoltan to life, setting out to deliver tangible, fully functional products for businesses.

They soon enlisted two other former Praesidium colleagues, Colin Clark and Sam Judd, who added crucial expertise in circuit and PCB design, layout, and 3D printing for embedded housings and test fixtures. Together, their combined capabilities have established Nielson Zoltan as a trusted resource for product development, redesign, and reverse engineering, bringing visions to life with precision and hands-on expertise.
